Pellegrini-Olivet Lane is a luxury brand estate family vineyard & winery, based in the heart of the Russian River Valley. The Pellegrini family are California wine pioneers, having been associated with every tier of the wine business since 1925 — as producers, grape sellers, importers, and wholesale distributors. Planted in 1975, our 70-acre estate vineyard has the distinction of being among the earliest plantings of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay in California. 2. POSITION DESCRIPTION
The Cellar & Ranch Maintenance position is a flexible team member who assists in the upkeep of our estate property, which consists of our winery building, sheds, vineyard acreage and hospitality gardens. This role takes the lead on repairs and maintenance projects for our ranch and buildings. A “Swiss Army Knife” employee who flexes between teams to support where they are needed most, assisting our winemaker with cellar activities for our boutique production, as well as an additional hand for our vineyard crew during peak growing season. This is a great role for a handy individual who likes to work with their hands, on a variety of projects which tap into a wide set of skillsets. Experience working in a winery or vineyard is a plus, though we are happy to train an individual looking to learn new skills.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
•  Facilities Maintenance — Repairs, modifications, and preventative maintenance tasks on buildings, facilities, fixtures and systems, utilizing hand and portable power tools. Carpentry, plumbing, electrical skills a plus. Maintain working order of tool rooms and storage areas. Custodial tasks may include washing windows, clearing gutters, and cobweb removal. Assist tasting room staff with set-up and dismantling of special events and packing shipments. Wine deliveries and material pick-ups in company truck.
•  Wine Production & Cellar Assistant — Working alongside our winemaker to ensure wine tasks are completed as needed. Harvest activities, barrel topping, bottling, and general cellar upkeep and cleaning tasks.
•  Vineyard & Ranch — Assist vineyard team with ranch tasks and vine work during peak growing times. Leafing, suckering, weed whacking. Fixing fences, trellising, posts and irrigation. Vehicle maintenance. Troubleshooting mechanical issues that may arise i.e. pump and engine repairs. Feeding sheep.

QUALIFICATIONS:
•  2+ years of experience at a winery, vineyard, farm, or industrial environment.
•  Trained forklift/scissor lift driver.
•  Outstanding problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills; able to manage priorities and workflow.
•  Excellent organizational skills and ability to keep clear and accurate records.
•  Should be self-motivated, confident, decisive and collaborative in approach.
•  Must be at least 21 years old.
•  Valid California driver’s license and be insurable by the company.
•  This position requires regular standing, walking, kneeling, and crawling.
•  Ability to lift up to 60 lbs.
