Looking for an intern for the 2025 harvest. Starting September through mid November. Small winery producing all Bordeaux varietals with tons of barrel fermentations.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
Brix/Temp for fermenting wine
Barrel ferment punchdowns
Punchdowns/Pumpovers/rack and returns
General winery cleaning and sanitation
Wine and juice transfers
Requirements:
Must be a US citizen or have a valid US work visa
Basic reading, writing, and math skills.
Some cellar experience preferred
Ability to communicate effectively
Attention to detail in the winery
Understanding of and dedication to cleanliness in the winery.
Safety conscious in all aspects of wine production.
Requires work schedule flexibility
Must be able to stand and sit for long periods of time and be able work indoors and outdoors in all seasons and temperatures.
Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
