Michel-Schlumberger Wine Estate is seeking a passionate and outgoing Estate Host and Marketing Associate to join our small winery team.


About our Winery:

The Michel-Schlumberger Estate is in Wine Creek Canyon in Healdsburg. The property was first planted with vines in 1979. The estate features beautiful rolling hill vineyards, and the winery’s white stucco walls, terracotta-tiled roof, bell tower, and grand courtyard offer a spectacular setting to enjoy a day in wine country.

- Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and occasional evenings for private events.

- Must be over 21 years of age.


Job Responsibilities and Duties:

75% Tasting Room Operations-

- Assisting the Hospitality team in reservation requests and confirmations - scheduling tastings and confirmations with guests and concierges through our reservation system TOCK.

- Help to set up/break down daily tasting room operations, including greeting guests.

- Host tasting experiences- including standard tastings, estate tours, and special events.

- Provide guests with wine club information and convert visitors into members.

- Ensure tasting room and inventory areas are clean, neat and stocked at all times.

- Promote the sale of wine products sold in the tasting room and pursue sales opportunities presented by contact with guests.

- Utilize POS system to transact sales and maintain tasting room inventory.

- Utilize POS to enter guest and club member data.

- Fulfillment of order pickups, onsite purchases, and packing shipping orders.

- Occasional participation in wine related events and tastings on/off site.

25% Marketing/Sales-

- Attend and contribute to bi-monthly marketing meetings and handle projects as assigned.

- Assist with the creative direction of our wineries marketing. This includes photography and a willingness to learn Adobe Illustrator, Canva and other design/content generation platforms that will be essential to the success of our marketing.

- Executing outbound text message/direct email campaigns centered around selling wine and driving visitation.
