Williams Selyem is looking to fill a last-minute opening on our harvest team. Due to the last-minute nature of this vacancy, we cannot accommodate international applicants. Please be available to work and live in Sonoma County August 2025 through October 2025.

We are passionate about crafting exceptional wines that express the uniqueness of the extraordinary vineyard sites we work with. A harvest internship is an excellent opportunity to work closely with the winemaking team and play a crucial role in crafting our wines.

New for 2025—together, we will make wine in our newly constructed harvest facility in the town of Healdsburg, California. We are excited to move into our new winery home and are looking for enthusiastic team members who can help make 2025 a remarkable and memorable vintage!

We seek hardworking, passionate, detail-oriented, and fun individuals. Successful interns have a good understanding of winemaking concepts and have a positive attitude.

During harvest, interns do a wide range of cellar/winemaking operations, including:
•  Fermentation management: punch downs and foot treading
•  Crush pad operations: grape receival and processing
•  Draining tanks by gravity, pressing, and barrel filling
•  Yeast and bacteria culture propagation and inoculations
•  Grape maturity sampling and processing
•  Topping, cleaning, etc.

Requirements:
•  At least one harvest experience is preferred
•  Previous forklift experience is helpful
•  General knowledge of winemaking and viticulture
•  Ability to climb, bend, stand for prolonged lengths of time, and lift 50 lbs.
•  Ability to work long, flexible hours through busy harvest time
•  Candidates must be at least 21 years of age by the start of the internship
•  Ability to lawfully work in the USA
•  Must have transportation. Housing is not provided.

The internship begins on August 5th and continues through October. Hourly pay rate is determined based on experience. (Pay range: $20-22/hour.)

Lunch and snacks are provided daily. Interns have an opportunity to purchase Williams Selyem wines!
