VNY Sales Representative- Manhattan
Two open sales territories both doing over $1.1 million in annual sales. We are looking for experienced and passionate individuals knowledgeable in wine, sake and craft spirits. One territory is comprised of moderate to high-end on-premise accounts complimented by a number of off premise accounts. The other territory consists mostly of Italian portfolios focused on premise accounts with a number of off premise accounts. These territories are positioned for growth with the correct individual working with these customers.
Responsibilities:
- Opening on-premise accounts in Manhattan and expanding sales and relationships with the accounts in the existing territories doing over $1.1 million in annual sales.
- Selling the entire VNY portfolio to restaurants and retail shops with a focus on Manhattan.
- Working with our suppliers in Manhattan.
- Pouring at in-store tastings and conducting staff training weekly.
- Attending weekly sales events, including sales meetings in our Manhattan office.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3-5 years of sales experience and success in the WINE & SPIRITS INDUSTRY preferably in Manhattan
- A well-established network of key on & off-premise accounts in Manhattan.
- A self-motivated, positive, energetic attitude and ability to work closely with your customers, colleagues, and suppliers.
- Strong organizational, speaking, and analytical skills.
- Ability to plan all aspects of your business independently and efficiently: budgets, resources, time.
- Computer skills that allow you to effectively use standard business programs and sales reporting systems.
- Strong knowledge of international fine wines, craft spirits and sake with a desire to continually self-educate.
VINTUS NY will offer competitive commissions Sales Incentives, Health Insurance and Retirement Benefits.
Pay range: $80,000- $85,000 plus sales commissions
