Job Description:

Echolands Winery is seeking Harvest Interns to join our team for the 2025 Vintage here in the Walla Walla Valley.

Echolands Winery is a Walla Walla-dedicated winery, producing wines of nuance, balance, and elegance. With reverence for classic styles, and with an equal passion for evolving winemaking, Echolands aims to create new paradigms and test the possibilities of the Walla Walla Valley AVA. We embrace regenerative farming for our two estate vineyards, and source grapes from leading established vineyards, in our sustainable pursuit to craft beautiful and age-worthy wines. After a great first harvest in our facility in 2024, we are looking to make 2025 even better!

This internship will begin in late August/ early September and end in late November/ early December. End date will be determined by the Vintage.

Job Duties apply to the following harvest stations
•  Fruit processing and crushpad duties
•  Morning and evening Cap Management
•  Pressing
•  Barrel downs
•  Empty barrel maintenance
•  Lots of cleaning and sanitizing
•  Hauling bins and fruit to and from vineyards
•  Other duties as required

Qualifications
•  Previous harvest experience is a big plus
•  High attention to detail, and communication skills
•  Ability to stand on hard surfaces for long periods of time
•  Ability to lift 50 pounds
•  Forklift experience is a plus
•  Clean driving record and ability to be licensed by the state
Physical Demands: Must be at least 21 years of age and in good physical shape to handle the rigors of wine work: long days during harvest, lifting up to 50lbs, reaching, stooping, standing on concrete, and otherwise being a rock-solid member of the winemaking team.

Full-time and overtime availability from late August/ early September through November is required. Job Duration is dependent on the vintage.
