Time Commitment: Full-Time Exempt, weekend and evening availability needed

Job Summary:
The Sales and Hospitality Manager leads the luxury guest experience across multiple tasting rooms, overseeing staff, scheduling, reservations, and daily operations. This on-site role drives direct-to-consumer sales, wine club growth, and guest engagement through premium, personalized service. Ideal candidates combine a passion for refined hospitality with strong sales strategy and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
Luxury Hospitality & Guest Experience:
Lead and elevate luxury guest experiences across tasting rooms by fostering a hospitality-forward culture rooted in warmth, precision, and brand storytelling. Partner with the winemaking and marketing teams to deliver emotionally engaging, personalized service that drives deep guest connection.
DTC Strategy & Sales:
Grow all direct-to-consumer channels through curated experiences, exclusive offers, and strategic promotions. Drive wine, merchandise, and club sales while aligning with marketing on premium-tier campaigns for loyal clientele.
Team Leadership & Development:
Recruit, train, and inspire a high-performing team to deliver refined hospitality. Conduct regular coaching, set clear benchmarks, and lead ongoing training in service, storytelling, and upselling to maintain excellence and increase conversions.
Performance & Operations:
Set and track sales goals and guest satisfaction metrics. Analyze performance data and create action plans for growth. Oversee inventory, tasting menus, and facility presentation to ensure alignment with brand and sales goals.
Customer Engagement & Feedback:
Actively engage with guests, monitor reviews, and implement improvements based on feedback to continuously enhance the luxury experience.

Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum of five years of successful management experience leading a high energy team, ideally within the wine or hospitality industry.
Wine Knowledge and Passion: Extensive knowledge of wine production, regions, and varieties and a genuine passion to share that with others in an inviting way.
Customer Service: Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage guests and create memorable experiences.
Leadership: Strong leadership and team management abilities, fostering a collaborative and positive work environment.
Communication: Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Point-of-Sale Experience: Proficiency with Point of Sale (POS) systems and computer applications; familiarity with wine industry-specific software is a plus.
Flexible Schedule: Ability to work a flexible retail industry schedule, including weekends, holidays, and evenings, as required by winery events and peak seasons.
Adaptability: Capacity to adapt to a dynamic environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
