Wanted: Tasting Room Sales Person: Weekends
Description: Olabisi winery seeks part-time sales associate for its Calistoga location.
We're looking for a motivated self-starter who is passionate about wine and the business of wine to assist with DTC sales at our family-owned boutique wine brand based out of Calistoga. A great opportunity for candidates interested in being involved with all aspects of wine sales, hospitality, and the boutique wine business.
We currently produce up to 15 different wines under the Olabisi label. Plenty of variety to keep it interesting. And lots of special, small-production bottlings to offer our clientele.
Candidates must be passionate about wine, take pride in great customer service, as well as be able to operate independently and confidently from tasting through to sales, shipping fulfillment, and ongoing customer outreach.
-Position would focus on direct-to-consumer sales via tasting room walk-in and private appointment-only tastings.
-Outreach to partner businesses, drivers, and tour companies.
-Candidate would be responsible for start-to-finish sales fulfillment, including scheduling appointments, shipping, order processing, customer tracking, and communication.
This is a unique opportunity to be an integral part of an established and growing Napa wine brand.
Qualifications:
Passion for Wine
Skilled at sales, customer outreach, and retention
Enjoys meeting and interacting with new people
Proficiency with spreadsheets, Google Drive, general computer literacy, electronic file organization, and record keeping.
Able to work independently
Organized
Compensation: Competitive compensation, and bonus/incentive opportunities.
Must be 21 years of age
Ability to lift and carry up to 45 lbs. on a regular basis
Ability to work a flexible schedule. Weekends for sure.
