Position Overview:
The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for developing and executing all aspects of the winery’s marketing strategy, with a focus on growing DTC (direct-to-consumer) sales, elevating brand visibility, driving wine club engagement, and producing high-quality content across channels. This is a hands-on role ideal for a creative, data-savvy marketer who thrives in a small team environment and enjoys both strategic thinking and day-to-day execution.
Key Responsibilities:
Digital Marketing & Brand Strategy
• Lead the development and execution of multi-channel marketing campaigns (email, SMS, digital advertising, SEO, various wine dashboards, and content).
• Maintain and optimize winery website.
• Create content for social media (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook) this is engaging, on-brand content with community interaction.
• Oversee digital ad campaigns (Meta, Google, publisher DSPs), monitor performance, and adjust strategies based on ROI.
Content Creation & Visual Assets
• Design print and digital collateral including tasting room signage, wine club inserts, brochures, social graphics, and ad creatives to maintain brand consistency and visual impact.
• Produce and edit high-quality photography and video content for use across digital and print.
• Lead creative direction for initiatives and seasonal campaigns.
• Collaborate with designers or vendors as needed; manage branding consistency across all materials.
Analytics & Reporting
• Monitor campaign KPIs and report on performance using Google Analytics, MailChimp, Tock, Meta, SimilarWeb, and eCellar (POS).
• Manage customer segmentation and A/B testing for continuous improvement.
Vendor & Budget Oversight
• Liaise with vendors (text platforms, web developers, geofencing partners, etc.) and manage marketing budgets in collaboration with the CEO and Operation Manager.
Qualifications:
• 4+ years’ experience in marketing, preferably in the wine, beverage, or hospitality industry.
• Strong background in graphic design, email marketing, content creation, digital advertising, marketing strategy, SEO & web optimization, and copy writing.
• Proficiency in tools such as MailChimp, Adobe Creative Suite, RedChirp, Tock, WordPress, WordPress Engine, eCellar or Commerce7, Meta Business Suite, Google Analytics, Google Console, and Google Ad Campaigns.
• Excellent copywriting, design sense, and attention to brand voice
• Self-motivated with excellent project management and multitasking skills
• Experience with wine club marketing, DTC strategy, and eCommerce preferred
Bonus Skills:
• Video production and photography
• Knowledge of Sonoma/Napa wine industry and wine club operations
• Familiarity with CRM platforms and customer journey mapping
