We are a family owned, well-established vineyard management company working primarily in the Napa & Sonoma County. We are looking for an Vineyards Vineyard Manager to assist with the day-to-day management operations and development of vineyards.

Essential Job Duties:

•  Work closely with the CEO/Director of Vineyard Operation in coordinating work for labor crews and other vineyard personnel.
•  Manage and improve workforce training and performance.
•  Ensure day-to-day vineyard operations are completed safely and efficiently.
•  Perform safety inspections (site, equipment, practices, etc.)
•  Must have experience with farm equipment.
* Must have experience with tracking times cards
*Experience in Agcode prefer but not required

Vineyard Manager Description

Responsible for management of the vineyards and gardens, including budget responsibility and determining the most effective use of personnel and equipment. Directs and oversees disease and pest control, proper pruning, tying, suckering, frost and heat control. Maintains close supervision of crews during harvesting of field; generates quality, cleanliness and tonnage records. Hires, directs, and trains personnel in the areas of scheduling, methods, safety, and rules and regulations related to vineyard functions. Handles employee disciplinary problems. May be involved in or responsible for contract vineyard negotiations and/ or grower relations
Qualifications: Skills, knowledge & Training:

Must have a positive attitude, a strong work ethic, exceptional communication skills and be willing to be a team player
•  3 to 5 years minimum experience working in vineyards.
•  B.S. in agriculture, viticulture, or another related field or equivalent experience.
•  PCA License is a plus
•  Experience with managing field crews.
•  Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including some weekends, periodic of Harvest overtime.
•  Must have a clean and valid CA Driver License.
Experience in scouting Pest & diseases in the vineyards, Preferred.
Bilingual in Spanish Preferred,
