Maison Brondeau is a brand new, hospitality-driven wine store with 3,000 square feet of space in the heart of Westchester, New York. Located among a multitude of high-rise apartment complexes and office buildings, and part of the new Arcade Shops at City Square in White Plains, Maison Brondeau is a one stop shop for all things Wine and Spirits with a focus on customer experience and community.
Opened in May 2025, Maison Brondeau offers a large, comprehensive yet carefully curated global selection, alongside automated pouring machines and a tasting bar and lounge for product samplings, tasting sessions, and educational classes. The goal is to demystify the world of wine and spirits, making it enjoyable and understandable for everyone who walks through Maison Brondeau’s doors.

We are hiring an Assistant Manager and Spirits Specialist, reporting to the General Manager. This role will assist in managing the day-to-day operations of the store, with a focus on in-store retail management, product procurement, order fulfillment, and wine club management.
What we’re looking for:
• Minimum of 3 years working as a wine and spirits buyer, sales team leader or in a related field/role with a proven track record of building retail sales.
• Advanced knowledge of wine and spirits.
• Someone who loves hospitality, and is committed to proudly representing the Maison Brondeau brand.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, creative and organizational skills, demonstrated by the ability to make timely and sound decisions.
• Impeccable written/verbal communication skills.
• Comprehensive understanding of digital and analog retail sales, social media/networking and wine marketing.
• Advanced computer skills including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and familiarity with POS, customer databases and AI marketing platforms.
• High energy team player with an entrepreneurial drive to succeed.
• Ability to lift boxes of ~40lbs.
