Basic Function:
As part of the Logistics team at Skurnik Wines, the Logistics Coordinator will need to thrive in a fast-paced environment utilizing analytical skills to streamline the supply chain process. The candidate must be able to work well independently as well as a team member.
Responsibilities:
• Review daily credits and returns processed by warehouse and post in operating system.
• Investigate credits/returns where information is unclear, incomplete, or questionable before making any adjustments.
• Work closely with the warehouse to verify adjustments made to inventory.
• Post inventory adjustments as result of cycle counts.
• Post bad bottle credits for all entities
• Post National Customer bill backs
• Coordinate the consolidation of orders from various points of origin to destinations
• Set up intercompany sales orders; post and transmit to warehouse. Verify item details setup and PO creation on the receiving side entity.
• Update Open PO Tracker spreadsheet daily and notify the team with updates.
• Coordinate shipments with suppliers and carriers for domestic logistics.
Required Experience:
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
• 2+ years of experience in logistics
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to clearly convey information to diverse audiences
• Strong computer skills, including the ability to navigate ERP systems
• Strong understanding of day-to-day business operations and how they align with organizational goals
• Experience working in multi-application environments is a plus
This position is a full-time non-exempt position located in our Jericho, Long Island office.
This is currently a hybrid position that requires a minimum of three days per week in the office. Must be available to work on-site for the first 90 days of employment.
