Langtry Farms crafts premium, sustainably farmed wines with a deep connection to vineyard and terroir. We’re seeking a passionate and strategic sales leader to drive growth and brand presence across the Western region.
Position Overview
As Western Region Sales Manager, you will execute on our regional business plan, fostering relationships with distributors, key accounts, and chain retailers to drive depletion and market share goals. You will lead promotional and merchandising campaigns, manage regional budgets, and support distributor execution on all Langtry Farming brands.
Key Responsibilities
•  Business Strategy & Execution: Implement annual plans, achieve depletion and sales targets, and cultivate distributor and on-/off-premise relationships.
•  Team Leadership: Liaise with distributor sales teams and internal functions; influence cross-functional priorities.
•  Account Management: Manage key national/regional chain and independent accounts, coordinate RFPs, and survey/optimize execution.
•  Promotions & Merchandising: Develop and track marketing campaigns, incentives, and in-market activities.
•  Financial Oversight: Manage budgets, merchandising funds, depletion allowances, and ROI tracking.
•  Reporting & Analytics: Provide timely market insights and updates to senior leadership.
•  Travel & Representation: Frequent travel within the region to support events, distributor engagements, and key account execution.
Qualifications
•  5+ years of wine/alcohol industry sales experience in the Western U.S., including distributor management.
•  Track record driving depletion and securing retail placement.
•  Expert knowledge of chain and independent account strategies.
•  Strategic thinker with strong negotiation and leadership skills.
•  Proficient in data analysis (Nielsen, IRI, Excel).
•  Valid driver’s license, ability to travel 50–70% including overnight stays.
•  Bachelor’s degree preferred.
