We’re seeking a dedicated hospitality professional to help lead our direct-to-consumer efforts and deliver on our commitment to excellence.
POSITION SUMMARY
The Assistant Hospitality Manager is a leadership position responsible for supporting all aspects of Revelry’s hospitality operations in our Walla Walla tasting room and beyond. The ideal candidate will have wine industry experience, a strong customer-service mindset, and the drive to help grow direct-to-consumer sales, club membership, and brand loyalty.
This role is highly interactive, requiring leadership in the tasting room, support with event execution, and collaboration with the Director of Hospitality to meet revenue and performance goals.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Deliver best-in-class hospitality to tasting room guests through engaging service and wine education
Lead and support the hospitality team in daily operations, training, and scheduling
Manage guest appointments, including private and elevated tastings
Drive DTC revenue through wine sales, club sign-ups, and follow-up outreach
Assist in planning and executing consumer-facing and private events (on- and off-site)
Handle POS and daily transaction reconciliations, inventory tracking, and monthly reporting
Represent Revelry at industry and marketing events when needed
Support strategic initiatives around club retention, visitor growth, and referral programs
QUALIFICATIONS
3+ years of hospitality or tasting room experience, with a preference for winery or luxury service background
Proven leadership ability and team management experience
Bachelor's degree required
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Solid wine knowledge (Washington wine familiarity preferred); WSET certification a plus
Tech proficiency in POS (Commerce7 ideal), Microsoft Excel, and digital scheduling platforms
MAST Permit and Food Handler’s Certificate (or ability to obtain)
Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work weekends, holidays, and occasional evenings or travel
