With a growing footprint in the luxury wine segment, our wines are featured in top-tier restaurants, private clubs, resorts, and collector circles across the country. We’re seeking an experienced and strategic National Sales Manager to lead our Western U.S. wholesale and event sales efforts across 22 key markets.

Position Summary
The National Sales Manager – Western U.S. will be based in the Portland, OR area and play a critical leadership role in driving brand growth and positioning through strategic distributor management, market development, and premium client engagement. This individual will work in close collaboration with the winery’s executive, production, and hospitality teams and must be able to operate at a high level both on the road and at the winery.

Key Responsibilities
•  Oversee all sales functions across 22 Western U.S. markets, ensuring execution of brand standards and growth initiatives.
•  Develop and implement market-specific strategic plans with defined KPIs and account objectives.
•  Maintain and strengthen distributor relationships with a focus on accountability, performance, and partnership.
•  Analyze sales performance data, depletion reports, and account activity to guide tactical decision-making.
•  Build and maintain strategic target account lists by market.
•  Host a minimum of 20 wine dinners/events per year, engaging wholesale clients and DTC guests.
•  Assist with winery-hosted events and VIP client experiences when needed.
•  Travel up to 28 times per year for distributor visits, account presentations, and events.
•  Maintain a clearly defined expense budget with timely and detailed reporting on all transactions.
•  Collaborate in person with internal winery teams; limited work-from-home flexibility available.

Required Qualifications
•  Minimum 5 years of experience as a National Sales Manager or equivalent senior wine sales role.
•  Proven success in managing large, multi-state distributor territories in the fine wine sector.
•  Deep understanding of depletion analytics, sales reporting, and pricing strategies.
•  Highly organized and self-motivated with strong attention to detail and time management.
•  Exceptional public speaking, presentation, and technical wine education skills.
•  Advanced wine certification required: CMS Advanced or WSET Diploma.
•  Strong command of luxury wine positioning and relationship-based sales.
•  Must reside in or near Portland, OR, with ability to be onsite at the winery when not traveling.
