About Kiona Vineyards:

In 1975, Kiona Vineyards planted the first vines on a desolate swath of desert in southeast Washington which would later become Red Mountain, a 4,040 - acre AVA known for producing opulent, powerful wines which reflect the intense growing climate. With 20 planted cultivars, Kiona operates 5 estate vineyards on Red Mountain spanning some 280 acres. Though we specialize in producing Cabernet Sauvignon, to which about 60% of our vineyards are planted, we produce a diverse portfolio of both Columbia Valley and Red Mountain - designated wines ranging from $15 to $110 per bottle.
