About the Role

The Director drives TWE's Commercial Strategy by leading Commercial Planning operating rhythm, translating brand plans and financial plans into sales objectives, developing Sales metrics, programming, incentives and KPOs and building Commercial playbooks for the Sales teams. Supporting Distributor Strategy and Route to Market strategy through scenario analysis and negotiation preparation materials. Lead Portfolio Strategy for BOLD in the Americas.

This opportunity is available as a hybrid, based in Napa, CA or remote, based in the U.S.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead development of TWE's annual Commercial Planning strategy, operating rhythm and materials
+ Collaborate with Marketing and Sales leadership to merge Brand Plans into a comprehensive Commercial Plan for Sales teams and Distributors, leading its annual development to drive BOLD business sales, priorities, and imperatives.
+ Develop distribution goals that are fact-based, challenging and designed to deliver TWE's growth objectives
+ Lead development of analytical channel strategies and playbooks using data insights and collaboration with Distributor partners
+ Proactively track Commercial Plan performance and collaborate with key stakeholders to assess mid-year adjustments or incremental programs
* Route to Market Analysis and Negotiations
+ Support, analyze, and recommend models evaluating alternative contract terms for cost/benefit impact
+ Collaborate with Finance, Supply, Sales, and Leadership to review internal implications of contract terms
+ Work with leadership to negotiate contract adjustments with existing distributors and assess new market opportunities (RFPs if applicable)
* BOLD Portfolio Strategy
+ Partner with Marketing on Strategic Portfolio strategy for annual Strategy and Commercial Plans
+ Drive productive discussions on competing priorities to shape the portfolio for today and the future
+ Work with Innovation to integrate innovation goals and priorities into strategic planning
* M&A Analysis & Integration
+ Develop analysis and modelling to determine UST's M&A business case, focusing on distribution and velocity opportunities
+ Oversee seamless integration of the business case into standard operations

About you

* You have strategy consulting or similar experience with ability to drive cross-functional projects
* You have experience collaborating with Sales & Marketing to enhance business impact
* Exceptional communication skills for compelling presentations and stakeholder engagement
* Proven leadership in managing teams, cross-functional projects, and tight deadlines
* Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and database applications (e.g., IRI)
* You have strong project management skills

Pay Transparency Disclosure: The base pay range offered for this position is $138,000 to $180,000 per year and other benefits. These figures represent what we reasonably expect to pay for this position, but the actual compensation offered will depend upon numerous job-related factors, including but not limited to candidate qualifications, skills, experience, education, location, and alignment with market data. Our expectation is that the incumbent will work out of our Napa location. If the incumbent works out of another location, the wage rate may fall above or below this range. Treasury reserves the right to modify the range in the future.
