Honig is looking for a hands-on, reliable Facilities Maintenance Technician to help keep our winery operations running smoothly. This role plays a key part in supporting day-to-day facilities needs across our buildings, production areas, and grounds.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
•  Perform general winery maintenance, including carpentry, plumbing, painting, general cleanup
•  Support landscaping repairs
•  Inspect, maintain and repair equipment for peak performance
•  Assist with readiness and facility prep for harvest and other seasonal operations
•  Assist with coordinating contractors when specialized repairs or services are required
•  Respond to maintenance related emergencies and after-hours issues as needed
•  Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently
•  Drive winery vehicle, properly hook up trailer and back up

Requirements:
•  Able to lift 50 pounds
•  Able to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods of time. Must be able to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and hear
•  Able to work indoors, outdoors, in warm or cold climates, lift, and climb stairs, work at heights or in close spaces, and physically agile to perform required work
•  Skilled in the use of hand and power tools
•  A positive person with the willingness to work as part of a team but also work independently and be self-directed
•  Able to work overtime if needed
•  Willing to learn and upgrade skill set and have good housekeeping
•  Good verbal and written communication
•  Valid CA Driver’s License and acceptable driving record
