About the Role

The Vice President, Consumer Insights & Strategy is responsible for developing a deep understanding of consumer behaviors and translating that understanding into actionable strategies to drive brand growth, innovation, and market expansion. This executive role leads the development and integration of consumer insights across branding, product, and business strategy to ensure long-term relevance and success.

Key Responsibilities

Consumer Understanding & Research
* Lead qualitative and quantitative research initiatives to uncover consumer motivations, behaviors, and trends.
* Conduct cultural scans and generational analyses to inform business strategy.

Strategic Insight Development
* Develop consumer personas, segmentation models, and journey maps.
* Identify unmet consumer needs and whitespace opportunities for innovation.

Cross-Functional Strategic Application
* Partner with product, marketing, innovation, and executive teams to integrate insights into business strategies.
* Provide strategic guidance to senior leadership for brand positioning and market expansion.

Innovation & Testing
* Establish and manage a framework for rapid testing, prototyping, and concept validation.
* Promote a test-and-learn culture across teams.

Measurement & Optimization
* Design and manage insight dashboards to track impact and guide iteration.
* Scale successful strategies across the organization.

About you
* You have a Bachelor's degree. An MBA or advanced degree in a related field is preferred.
* You have 12+ years of experience in consumer insights, marketing strategy, or brand leadership
* You have expertise in both qualitative and quantitative research methods
* You have a strong track record of converting insights into growth strategies
* You have excellent communication and cross-functional leadership skills
* You come from a luxury, lifestyle, or consumer goods background

Pay Transparency Disclosure: The base pay range offered for this position is $189,000 to $221,000 per year and other benefits. These figures represent what we reasonably expect to pay for this position, but the actual compensation offered will depend upon numerous job-related factors, including but not limited to candidate qualifications, skills, experience, education, location, and alignment with market data. Our expectation is that the incumbent will work out of Los Angeles, CA. If the incumbent works out of another location, the wage rate may fall above or below this range. Treasury reserves the right to modify the range in the future.
