About the Role
The PATRIMONY Ambassador provides ongoing education and support for the Patrimony sales team, ICON and Luxury sales team, key accounts and distributors. The PATRIMONY Ambassador will work closely with the viticulture, winemaking and hospitality team, and be the primary source of truth for all facets of Patrimony production. The PATRIMONY Ambassador will collaborate with marketing to provide input and content for educational tools for trade.
The PATRIMONY Ambassador must have an established record in wine production, a passion for wine, education and storytelling.
Key Responsibilities
* Work with viticulture and production team and maintain a credible working knowledge of Patrimony production
* Host key accounts and private clients on DAOU mountain to help achieve sales objectives and loyalty
* Develop key account relationships in the local wholesale market
* Acts as a strategic partner to Sales and Marketing leadership to develop and execute education programs
* Support DTC/Private Client tastings and events.
* Conduct routine sales activities such as market visits, sales meetings, trade shows, dinners and events
* Provide feedback on Sales and Marketing on significant, relevant changes in production from vintage to vintage.
About you
* You have excellent interpersonal and leadership skills with an ability to work with a diverse group of people (e.g., executives, coworkers, staff, distributors, industry leaders, restaurant owners, buying managers, sommeliers)
* You have excellent communication, presentation, and public-speaking skills
* Must possess deep knowledge of varietals, growing regions, and wine
* Must be a smart, professionally mature individual that doesn't take constructive feedback personally
* You are proficient in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, Publisher, and PowerPoint
* Embodies the core values of the organization through disciplined business practices, positive nature, relentless consumer experience orientation, and consistent drive for top performance
* Position requires up to 50% travel and ability to work a flexible schedule when job duties dictate
* You have a High School Diploma or GED. Additional education is strongly preferred
* You have a Valid State Driver's License
* You have a minimum of 5+ years in wine production
* You have thorough wine knowledge
* You have demonstrated effective written and oral communication skills
* Must reside in Paso Robles, California (currently or willing to relocate)

Pay Transparency Disclosure: The annual salary pay range offered for this position is $95K to $100K and other benefits. These figures represent what we reasonably expect to pay for this position, but the actual compensation offered will depend upon numerous job-related factors, including but not limited to candidate qualifications, skills, experience, education, location, and alignment with market data. Our expectation is that the incumbent will work out of our Paso Robles, CA location. If the incumbent works out of another location, the wage rate may fall above or below this range. Treasury reserves the right to modify the range in the future.
