For over 20 years, Bon Vivant Imports has brought family-owned, consciously farmed wines from across Europe to the U.S. market. We focus on deep relationships, small producers, and a portfolio rooted in integrity and amazing juice. Now, we're expanding our direct distribution in California—and we're looking for a motivated and thoughtful sales professional to help us grow in the Bay Area and beyond. What We’re Looking For:
•  A kind, flexible, and resourceful self-starter with the grit to build something meaningful.
•  An optimistic go-getter who sees the shifts in the alcohol industry as an opportunity, not a setback.
•  Someone comfortable with technology and CRM systems, and you're already using tools to work smarter.

What You’ll Do:
•  Spend 70% of your time working within your local metro area.
•  Dedicate 30% of your time to traveling to key markets throughout Northern California.
•  Visit an average of 20 accounts per week (mix of existing and new prospects).
•  Expand quality placements across a variety of categories and sales channels.
•  Sell directly to on-and off-premise accounts without distributor rep support.
•  Build, grow, and maintain relationships with top-tier accounts.
•  Lead educational tastings and trainings for trade and consumer audiences.
•  Set and achieve quarterly professional goals.
•  Identify and refine target accounts and track progress using CRM tools.
•  Communicate openly, thoughtfully, and often with your team and manager.
•  Maintain detailed records of all account and distributor activities in CRM and use it to plan your workflow.

Requirements:
•  Excitement, hunger, thirst, kindness.
•  Must reside in the San Francisco Bay Area.
•  Minimum 2 years of wine industry experience preferred.
•  Valid U.S. driver’s license and passport required.
•  Must have reliable vehicle.
•  Able to lift 40 lbs and work on the road for extended periods.

•  Type: Full-Time 1099 Contractor
•  Compensation: Commission-based + stipend for insurance, travel, and expenses
•  Location: Remote; based in or near San Francisco
•  Flexibility: Evening events and occasional travel required for trade events
