We're Hiring: Full-Time Hospitality Associate

Join our family-run winery in the heart of California’s wine country! We are looking for a passionate individual who would like to be a Nicholson Ranch wine ambassador. Nicholson Ranch is a winemaker-owned winery – we grow all our own grapes and make our wines naturally with native yeast. Our wines are minimally processed and bottled unfiltered. All our wines are sold directly from Nicholson Ranch to wine enthusiasts.

What You’ll Do:
•  Hospitality – welcome and greet wine club members and visitors to the winery.
•  Service – Host guests for table service in our Courtyard and lakeside and wine service at the tasting room bar.
•  Education – Teach guests about winemaking and guide them through the appreciation of wine.
•  Tours - Host wine tasting tours of the vineyard, winery and cellars.
•  Sales and Memberships – Sign up wine club members and encourage purchase of wine
•  Collaborate with our family to maintain an authentic and engaging brand voice

What We’re Looking For:
•  A passion for wine and the wine industry
•  Strong storytelling and writing skills
•  A love for working in a family-friendly, collaborative environment

Qualifications:
•  High school degree required. College preferred.
•  Minimum 5 years of wine-related experience – winery, restaurant, wine shop or wine educator.
•  Exemplary customer service and presentation skills.
•  Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook
•  Availability on all weekends and occasionally evenings.
•  Must be able stand for long periods and lift 50 lbs occasionally.
•  Must be 21 years of age and have a valid driver’s license.

Compensation
•  Annual salary of $50,000 - $60,000 – tips, bonus and commissions can add $20,000 to $30,000.
•  PTO of 15 days a year
