Selby Winery is owned by Susie Selby, sole proprietor, and located just off the square in downtown Healdsburg. Our Tasting Room features an outdoor patio where guests can enjoy highly acclaimed wines in a relaxed yet vibrant environment. Job Description:
The candidate for the job does not need to have wine industry experience, but a background in hospitality and POS systems is important. The training for the job will be by Winemaker Susie Selby and wine knowledge can be limited as long as the passion for wine is not. The ideal person will be able to assist or create marketing materials as needed. We want enthusiastic individuals who will not only give outstanding customer service to guests, but will be encouraged to bring ideas to the Tasting Room that will make Selby even more exceptional.

Responsibilities:
-Provide exceptional guest experience
-Be able to create menus and marketing materials
-Operate the POS system proficiently to assure outstanding customer service during and after the tasting experience.
-Assist with coordinating events and setting up VIP tastings
-Ansering emails and scheduling appointments
-Overseeing the cleanliness of the Tasting Room during work days
-Overseeing all aspects of shipping, including packing and tracking

Qualifications:
-Excellent organization, communication and time management skills
-Proficient on POS and data base systems
-Good writing skills
-Able to lift 40 pounds
