The Customer Service Assistant supports Sales, Hospitality, Shipping and Accounting teams with daily administrative duties. Our ideal candidate must be a multitasker with strong communication skills, be detail-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced, small office environment. We are looking for a highly organized and extremely flexible person to fill this role. The Customer Service Assistant thrives on customer service and brings a friendly and enthusiastic attitude to the position. This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday from 8:30am to 5pm. This position will be reporting to the Estate Director.
Responsibilities of the Customer Service Assistant include, but are not limited to, the following:
GENERAL/OFFICE/SHIPPING DUTIES
-Answer phones and transfer to the appropriate staff member
-Take and distribute accurate messages
-Proficient with packing, shipping, printing shipping labels and scheduling pickups
-Assist with Inventory maintenance
-Facilitate communication between office and cellar staff
SALES/DIRECT TO CONSUMER ADMINISTRATION
-Respond to potential guests and set appointments and book on calendars
-Coordinate various communications with DTC and Wholesale customers regarding shipping and scheduling
-Help Hospitality Staff set up and breakdown as requested
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Minimum 3+ years administrative experience
• Experience in wine industry a plus
• Proficiency with Outlook and Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Exceptional communication and phone skills
• A highly approachable, gregarious, warm, and friendly personality
• Proactive and resourceful
• Ability to maintain confidentiality with a high level of discretion and grace
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Detail oriented and ability to multi task
• Ability to accurately follow instructions but willingness to ask for help when needed
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
