Adobe Road Winery is seeking a Northeast Regional Sales Manager for Adobe Road and The Racing Series wines. We are looking for a proven Sales Professional who is passionate about what they do and inspired by achieving significant market growth through the Northeast US. Adobe Road is an award-winning boutique winery with unique ties to the exciting world of professional sports car racing through its sister company, The Racers Group (TRG). Adobe Road’s The Racing Series is a luxury premium brand comprised of 5 unique red blends and 1 white blend inspired by moments on the racetrack. As the Northeast Regional Sales Manager, you will leverage your distributor relationships with your enthusiasm for our mission and your knowledge of product sales to drive business. You will actively engage with attendees at Key Direct to Consumer events. The Racing Series wines are scaling rapidly, this is a unique opportunity to impact our business and, most importantly, our mission. The sky’s the limit!
We are a lean organization, searching for a candidate who is adept at selling solutions with a proven ability to win new business. Your primary goal will be to quickly and personally achieve aggressive growth by building new relationships with distributors, national on-premise accounts, and off-premise retail specialty chains. Our selection of top talent is critical to our future growth, and as such, our obsession with selecting the perfect quality match for this role is deliberate. Duties & Responsibilities:
• Responsible for developing aggressive distribution growth in the Northeast US, creating new sources of revenue for Adobe Road and The Racing Series wines.
• Develop, manage, and oversee a robust pipeline of opportunities. Gaining new clients by growing, maintaining, and leveraging your network.
• Managing existing accounts, including account activation and working with our team to develop accounts into long-term customers.
• Actively participate and manage key Direct to Consumer events
• Reporting weekly sales activity to management.
• Being accountable for reaching sales goals and developing strategic growth plans to open new accounts.
Requirements & Qualifications:
• Preference to candidates residing in the New York / New Jersey area.
• Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree (BA or BS) from a four-year college or university.
• 3 years of Account Sales experience required with experience and contacts in the Northeast US.
• Demonstrated success in growing wine business volume.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs (case of wine)
• High energy and stamina—changing the world takes grit.
• An interest in traveling up to 50% of the time across the Northeast US.
• The ability to support Consumer Events some nights and weekends
• The ability to be a structured and organized thinker who can drive projects to completion with minimal direction, attention to detail, and ability to deep-dive when necessary.
• Experience in key account management and distributor engagement—you may have existing industry relationships, and if not, you are a natural at building long-term strategic relationships.
• Articulate with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Highest standards of accuracy and precision; highly organized.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities against multiple deadlines.
• Effectively communicate/present to senior-level managers.
• An ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial environment
