Hospitality Support Associate / Back Bar

We are seeking a dynamic, driven, and professional individual to join our hospitality team on a part-time basis. This position entails creating memorable experiences in our newly renovated hospitality areas, as well as working in a team-oriented environment. Responsibilities include daily interaction with winery guests, hosting tastings, tour experiences, phone sales, packing shipments, special events and retail sales.

Responsibilities:
•  Maintain a positive and friendly demeanor
•  Set up and break down of tastings and special events, bussing/sanitizing tables
•  Cleaning and buffing of glassware and dishes
•  Preparation of cheese and pairing plates, rillettes, dips and other food offerings
•  Maintain a stock of clean wine glasses and other service ware
•  Maintain cleanliness of tasting room, kitchen, restrooms, common and hospitality areas by assisting with janitorial tasks
•  Keep all food products organized, properly stored and labeled
•  Communicate guest feedback to coworkers
•  In-house laundering of linens, buffing rags, etc.
•  Stock wine and other inventory items
•  Checking in and escorting guests to their table.
•  Water & Food service as needed
•  Ability to assist Hospitality team working directly with consumers, as needed
•  Maintain proper knowledge of ZD wines, cheese, charcuteries, and food pairings offered
•  Follow company policies, dress code, and safety procedures
•  Participate in Tasting Room meetings
Qualifications/Skills:
•  Ability to multi-task and prioritize responsibilities
•  Organized & clean
•  Work calmly and effectively under pressure
•  Carry out the physical aspects of the position including the ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for long periods of time
•  Self-motivated and hardworking with a strong attention to detail.
Desirable:
•  Previous restaurant, winery, or hotel experience
•  General wine and food knowledge
•  Experience with Microsoft Outlook and Tock
•  Current Food Handler certification
Other:
•  18 years or older
•  3 days/ week, including Friday/Saturday/Sunday with potential for a 4th day in peak season
•  Work Events as needed
•  Reliable Transportation required
