Southwest District Sales Manager

Working within a defined market, the Southwest District Manager will oversee sales operations in Arizona, Nevada, and any other designated territory, to ensure the attainment of established sales, financial and distributor objectives.
This candidate would ideally be located in Arizona.
You will be successful in this role while performing these essential responsibilities:
• Provide sales management and coverage within the geographic market.
• Build upon existing current distributor and key account relationships to gain access and exposure.
• Develop annual sales plans for each market to ensure that case and distribution objectives are met.
• Maintain up to date knowledge on competitor information, product placement and market trends to set up pricing and sales programs that drive sales.
• Manage price point objectives within an annual financial budget including managing all distributor charge backs, budgets, and invoices.
• Develop and manage sales incentives and support programs to ensure achievement of annual objectives.
• Manage and facilitate allocations of wines for distributor network.
• Work to strengthen existing relationships and develop new distribution for all brands in key accounts.
• Identify and drive new sales opportunities.

You will be qualified for this role if you meet these requirements:
• 5 years distributor, wholesale, or supplier related wine sales experience with a proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales and distribution goals.
• Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) in related field or equivalent.
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
• Proficient on Microsoft Office Suite and capable of adopting new technology and software.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate professionally and effectively in person, on the phone, electronically, or through other means to individuals and groups.
• Ability tot stand, walk, sit, climb stairs, balance, and kneel.
• Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds. Must reside in the market assigned.
