Southeast Market Manager

Job Description:

Market Manager: Consideration will be given to applicants with experience necessary to those with residency in Texas, Florida or Georgia.

Key Responsibilities:
•  Sales and Distribution:
Develop and implement sales plans to meet or exceed sales targets, manage distributor relationships, and ensure optimal product distribution within the region.
•  Customer Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, including retailers, on-premise establishments, and distributors.
•  Market Analysis and Strategy:
Monitor market trends, identify opportunities for growth, and propose strategies to adapt to changing market conditions.
•  Reporting and Analysis:
Track sales performance, analyze data, and provide regular reports to management on sales results and market conditions.
•  Compliance and Legal:
Ensure adherence to all state and federal regulations related to the import, distribution, and sale of alcoholic beverages.
•  Budget Management:
Manage and control expenses within the allocated budget.
•  Merchandising and Promotion:
Work with distributors and retailers to implement effective merchandising and promotional programs to drive sales.
Qualifications:
•  Experience:
Proven experience in wine sales and distribution, ideally with experience in the import/export industry.
•  Knowledge:
Deep understanding of the wine industry, including different Iberian wine regions, varietals, and consumer trends.
•  Skills:
Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills; ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders; and analytical skills to interpret sales data.
•  Education:
Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred, but relevant experience may be considered.
•  Other:
Ability to travel within the assigned region, a valid driver's license, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Consideration will be given to applicants with experience necessary to those with residency in Florida or Georgia.
