The Knights Bridge Estate Host serves as a gracious ambassador of our estate to deliver world-class, luxury hospitality to collectors, members, and guests of the property. The ideal candidate will work to achieve excellence in all endeavors with an elevated sense of urgency. We seek a smart, positive, polished, service-driven, and team-oriented individual who is excited to learn and contribute, with ample opportunities for growth and development in sales, hospitality, and marketing. Previous winery, event, or restaurant experience is appreciated and valued; weekends and some holidays required. The Estate Host is a key member of our team who works closely with other departments to enhance and elevate the Knights Bridge Winery image to achieve prestige and profitability.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Core Duties
•  Set-up and host the guest experience at Knights Bridge Winery. Duties may include setting up and then cleaning up a food pairing experience. Additionally, host guests in the winery for a range of tasting experiences; duties may include setting up a barrel sampling, opening wine, polishing stemware, setting up cheese and charcuterie plates, and cleaning up after a tasting experience.

•  Process customer orders and track through to delivery to ensure a seamless guest experience, including sending thank you notes and following up for future sales. Maintain current data in Wine Direct, Tock, and Salesforce on each guest experience and purchases to enable future sales.

•  Activate phone and email sales campaigns during slow or down times by reaching out to current and past Knights Bridge guests to offer current and library release wines.

•  Provide elevated customer service through emails, phone calls, and other duties as needed to ensure the highest guest satisfaction; assist with general hospitality related administration.


Sales Management & Business Development
•  Coordinate with VP Sales and Marketing and the Director of DTC Sales to plan, revise, and implement sales strategies.

•  Identify target consumers, referral accounts, and opportunities within the framework of the overall company strategy, coordinating referral account assignments with the Director of DTC Sales and VP of Sales & Marketing. Conduct local outreach, networking and promotion of the private estate tasting experience and work to develop new referral relationships.

•  Develop and maintain high-level awareness of all market factors affecting Knights Bridge through consumer contacts, field contacts, trade contacts, and review of appropriate publications pertaining to luxury wine sales and luxury hospitality service.

•  Develop market knowledge and conduct business in a manner consistent with all legal and regulatory considerations pertaining to the activities of a winery representative.

•  Maintain and build the Salesforce database with details of customer calls; document contact information and wine notes.


Administration
•  Ensure all monthly reports are completed accurately and delivered before the 5th day of each month and assist DTC Sales Director with fulfillment management.

•  Accurately collect and finalize guest information in TOCK for future appointments. Review Tock Dashboard daily, thoroughly update notes with all guest information, and confirm reservations with guests by phone, email, and text.

•  Provide Concierge services to guests utilizing knowledge of Napa and Sonoma wineries and lodging establishments.
