Bookkeeper & Sales Coordinator

Job Description:

Fantastic opportunity to work for one of Oregon’s oldest and most acclaimed family-owned wineries. The successful candidate will be an integral part of a small accounting team working under the CFO and will be a key part of our continued success.
Full time, non-exempt position with excellent benefits including company paid health care with HSA plan, retirement plan with company match (SIMPLE IRA), three weeks of paid time off plus five paid holidays, educational opportunities, year-end bonus and annual wine allocation.
Salary range is $25-28/hr, DOE.
Key responsibilities
•  Process wholesale orders for domestic and international consolidation and coordinate with our warehouses and distributor partners for timely shipping.
•  Process and send invoices and credit memos.
•  Process and record incoming EFT payment remittances.
•  Send monthly customer AR statements.
•  Provide admin support to our outside sales team as needed. Duties include:
o Attend and take notes for quarterly sales meetings.
o Track and update release schedules and pricing grids for wholesale customers.
o Track and update promotional pricing worksheet.
o Monitor inventory levels at warehouse locations.
o Post daily sales updates to Microsoft Teams.
•  Office administration duties:
o Answer phone from 9-5 pm daily.
o File accounting documents (electronic and paper).
o Process and disperse mail deliveries daily.
o Coordinate wine donation requests from non-profit organizations as needed.
Qualifications
•  High School diploma/GED required; four-year college degree preferred.
•  Accounting background preferred but not required.
•  One year of prior administrative experience.
•  QuickBooks experience highly recommended but not required.
•  Commerce & Tock experience is preferred but not required.
•  Established track record as a motivated self-starter with the ability to multitask and prioritize to meet deadlines.
•  Ability to work independently with strong organizational skills with attention to accuracy.
•  Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365, including Excel, Word and Teams.
•  Strong oral and written communication skills.
•  Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
Physical Requirements
•  Ability to lift at least 40lbs to handle cases of wine.
•  Ability to sit for extended periods of time. Sit to stand desk optional.
