About the Role
As Tasting Room Manager, you’ll be responsible for all tasting room operations: retail sales, guest experiences, wine and olive oil education, club sales and food service. You’ll create memorable moments for our guests while ensuring smooth operations and achieving sales goals.
Key Responsibilities Include:
• Providing exceptional guest experiences, educating visitors about our products and story.
• Working with the Wine Club Manager to increase our club membership via sales, events, education, and member engagement.
• Leading, training, and inspiring tasting room staff.
• Collaborating with Marketing to drive DTC sales and achieve revenue targets through innovative promotions and strategies.
What We’re Looking For
• Hospitality and wine industry experience; 3+ years winery tasting room experience is required.
• 3+ years employee management experience preferred
• Strong leadership skills and a proven track record in sales.
• Passion for wine and the ability to share it with enthusiasm.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and time management abilities.
• Familiarity with POS systems, CRM tools, G Suite and Microsoft office and inventory management. Knowledge of Wine Direct, Commerce 7 and TOCK are preferred.
Other Requirements:
• Working weekends, holidays, and occasional evenings.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 pounds.
