Cellar Lead – Small Vines Wines
Small Vines Wines is a family-owned, estate winery and custom crush facility located in western Sebastopol, within the Sonoma Coast AVA. We specialize in crafting high-quality Pinot Noir and Chardonnay exclusively from our own high-density vineyards, farmed organically and sustainably. Our approach emphasizes precision viticulture, allowing us to preserve the purity of the fruit in the cellar without relying on additives or heavy-handed winemaking techniques. We also produce direct-to-press rosé and Méthode Traditionnelle sparkling wines.
While Pinot Noir and Chardonnay are our primary focus, our custom crush clients bring a diverse array of varietals, including Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Petit Verdot, Gamay, and several Italian varieties. All the wines made at our facility are crafted with a low-intervention philosophy, fermented with native yeasts, and many remain unfiltered. We are a hardworking team that values attention to detail, collaboration, and—most importantly—enjoying the process.
