Last year, Patz & Hall founder James Hall repurchased the winery he co-founded in 1988 after 8 years of corporate ownership. Since then, we have implemented a new team, new systems, and a new culture characterized by growth, collaboration, and an entrepreneurial spirit – and we need a leader in our tasting room to extend this spirit to our consumer experiences.

This role, reporting to the Vice President of Marketing and DTC, offers the rare chance to shape the future of our hospitality program while leveraging your direct-to-consumer sales expertise at a high-profile, well-respected winery. As Senior Manager of Hospitality and DTC Sales, you'll have the autonomy to implement strategic vision, showcase your hospitality flair, and drive meaningful business results in the evolving luxury wine landscape. Responsibilities:

Hospitality Management
•  Lead day-to-day operations of our luxury wine tasting room; Saturday's required
•  Mentor, manage, schedule, and oversee Wine Educator staff
•  Handle personnel administration for the Hospitality team
•  Manage and maintain tasting room facilities and coordinate with external vendors
•  Oversee internal hospitality initiatives

Direct-to-Consumer Sales
•  Manage outbound telesales campaigns in cooperation with concierge sales team
•  Plan, execute, and monitor for performance corporate all gifting campaigns
•  Plan and coordinate the execution of “roadshow” DTC sales events in external markets

Events & Member Relations
•  Plan, execute, and continuously improve member and consumer events both at the winery and offsite
•  Create exceptional experiences that surprise and delight customers
•  Engage diverse consumer segments across age, gender, socioeconomic status, and cultural backgrounds

Logistics & Systems Administration

Manage commercial systems including:
•  Commerce 7 (POS system)
•  Tock (reservation system)
•  SOVOS Ship Compliant (DTC compliance tool)
•  Wine Direct (DTC fulfillment platform)
Manage DTC inventory and logistics:
•  Collaborate with Sales Logistics team to manage inventory movements to ensure reliable and timely access to wine for tasting experiences, events, and promotions
•  Manage and optimize costs associated with DTC warehousing, transfers, and customer fulfillment
Cross-Functional Collaboration
•  Partner with wholesale sales organization to ensure high-quality and memorable experiences for trade guests
•  Collaborate with Club Manager on member experiences, customer service, and events
•  Contribute to enterprise-wide strategic objectives as required

Required Qualifications:
•  8+ years’ experience in wine hospitality or high-end dining with both floor and management experience
•  Proven track record of growth, achievement, financial success, and increasing responsibility
•  Deep wine knowledge with certifications (WSET Level 2 or equivalent and up)
•  Experience leading people and working with enterprise systems
•  Demonstrated ability to lead high-functioning teams and mentor subordinates
•  Strong financial acumen with understanding of how KPIs contribute to overall business goals
•  Digital literacy with understanding of the DTC marketing mix
•  Working in office environment as well as Hospitality Center
•  Ability to operate a motor vehicle.
•  Ability to occasionally lift and carry cases of wine that may weigh up to 45 pounds.
