JOB DESCRIPTION:
Responsibilities:

•  Effectively promotes and represents the Patz & Hall portfolio to distributors, industry professionals, and consumers.
•  Spends 70% of their time out in the field building and cultivating relationships with key distributor personnel and influencer accounts across both channels to help drive
volume and distribution in the assigned territory.
•  Employs effective negotiation skills to ensure wholesalers meet monthly commitments.
•  Maintains distributor inventory at agreed contractual levels.
•  Generates accurate forecasts for shipments, depletions, and budgeting
•  Leads and participates in sales and planning meetings with wholesaler sales and management staff
•  Collaborates with distributor sales teams and management to execute programs efficiently and effectively.
•  Educates distributor sales personnel and the trade on the Patz & Hall portfolio
•  Conduct monthly business discussions with Distributor Management Teams to ensure alignment and accountability.
•  Stay informed about competitor activities in the market and communicate strategic insights to direct supervisors and key wholesaler personnel.
•  Supports "sales blitzes/crew drives" in the primary and secondary markets as necessary.
•  Manages and controls annual market budgets effectively.
•  Demonstrate a strong ethical framework and high integrity.
•  Organizes and conducts general sales meetings to educate and motivate the salesforce
•  Embodies qualities essential for success in a luxury environment, including fine wine knowledge, a luxury mindset, and the ability to forge strong relationships with fine wine
accounts in both channels
•  Fosters a cooperative team spirit, prioritizing team objectives over individual interests and working closely with distributor management to ensure the execution of annual
sales plans.

Requirements:
This role is expected to be active within the states of FL, GA, AL, SC, MS & TN. The time committed to each city or market should match the market size/potential of the geography.

•  Bachelor’s degree in Business or related area OR equivalent years working experience in related area in lieu of degree required.
•  Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
•  5+ years of supplier management experience
•  Strong persuasive presentation skills, including the ability to speak before large audiences both internally or externally, required.
•  Ability to multi-task and to exercise independent judgment without supervision.
•  Strong analytical skills required.
•  Passion for wine and the ability to continuously learn new wines and brands and represent effectively to customers required.
•  Minimum of seven years previous professional wine industry experience preferred.
•  Personal vehicle required for regional work travel.

Physical Requirements
•  Working in home office environment as well as in assigned sales territory
•  This position requires travel (approximately 65%), primarily within assigned sales territory.
•  Ability to operate a motor vehicle.
•  Ability to occasionally lift and carry cases of wine that may weigh up to 45 pounds.
