Echolands Winery is a Walla Walla-dedicated winery, producing wines of nuance, balance, and elegance. With reverence for classic styles, and with an equal passion for evolving winemaking, Echolands aims to create new paradigms and test the possibilities of the Walla Walla Valley AVA.

Our tasting room in the majestic Mill Creek district in the Blue Mountain foothills is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Wine Educators, to deliver exceptional hospitality experiences. We are seeking those interested in part-time and full-time candidates.

Wine Educators will be responsible for delivering phenomenal service to our guests.

Key goals:
- Receive, educate, and impress our guests, as you lead them through their tastings.
- Learn and master our POS, CRM and reservation systems.
- Responsible for order quality assurance and customer data.
- Accurately collect guests data and preferences. Take and record sales and shipping details, customer contact information and account notes, during and after guests visits to the estate.
- Build and maintain relationships, grow client roster and cultivate new enthusiasts.
- Take ownership of the entire guest experience. From time of booking to follow-up outreach and everything in between.
- Effectively implement strategies and tactics to sell wine, increase club membership and repeat visits.
- Be responsive and gracious in solving customer issues and/or complaints.
- Pursue a continuing education about wine, the Walla Walla region and the products of Echolands Winery.
- Support the operation of the Echolands Winery Estate tasting room by following opening or closing procedures.
- Be a visible spokesperson/ambassador for the brand, to promote awareness and affection for the wines and the experiences.
- Be a part of the development of a culture of hospitality, based on mutual respect, quality work ethic, and attention to experience.
- Work closely with the winemaker to understand, communicate, and educate on key winemaking concepts to staff and guests.
- Assist with on-site events.
- Maintain a professional and positive appearance/demeanor at all times.
- Make people feel amazing when they are at Echolands.

Job Qualifications:
- 1+ years experience in wine retail
- Bachelor’s degree or wine-related degree preferred
- Must possess wine knowledge and wine tasting experience
- Leadership skills and stewardship of positive culture a must
- Ability to communicate clearly, elegantly, and with humility and respect for guests of all levels of wine knowledge
- Must possess and model excellent professional work habits: organization, execution, timeliness, and written communication
- Proficiency with current technology and business software, including Microsoft Excel, Word, email, POS Systems, etc…
- Goal-driven and problem-solving mentality
- Great sense of humor
- History of responsible use of alcohol, and record of appropriate conduct. Ability to be licensed, permitted, and/or certified by state and local authorities. Clean driving record.

Compensation: Hourly rate, tips and sick leave. For full-time candidates, we offer company-paid health insurance, paid time off and performance incentives.
