Job Summary:
Sentium is a new wine led by the fourth generation of the Mondavi family. Independent of the family’s existing project, Continuum Estate, Sentium focuses on producing a Sauvignon Blanc from small, family-owned, vineyards located in Mendocino County.
We are seeking a dependable, passionate, self-motivated individual with great attention to detail to join our small production team for the 2025 harvest. Working in close collaboration with the winegrower, this position will participate in harvest-related activities as outlined below.
Vineyard sites are located in Mendocino County and Sentium’s production facility is a shared winery space located in south Napa. Most duties assigned will take place in Mendocino County but there will be some time spent in Napa as well. This position will include significant drive time.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include:
VINEYARD
1. Travel to each site to collect and process vineyard maturity data
2. Scout vineyards for wine quality observations
3. Process vineyard samples and prepare for analysis
4. Data entry
5. Assist with various needs including participating in each harvest pick
WINEMAKING
6. Work with winegrower to learn winemaking direction and goals
7. Participate in technical tastings of juice and wine during fermentation

Job Requirements:
Education/Experience: 1-3 years of harvest experience preferably with some experience working with Sauvignon Blanc.
Skills:
• Commitment to high standards with an acute attention to detail
• Experience with regenerative, organic farming practices a plus
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Experience working independently and as part of a team
• Excel experience a plus
• Tractor experience a plus
• Forklift experience a plus
• Ability to drive a truck and trailer a plus
Physical: Able to travel long distances by car and operate vehicles. Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping. Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time. Grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight, including 60-gallon wine barrels. Move over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces. Move up and down ladders, stairs and/or service ramps. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 60 pounds without assistance. Work with chemicals that require protective equipment. Ability to handle a range of temperatures and humidity both indoors and outdoors.
Other: (Includes licenses, certificates, age, etc.) Must have a valid unrestricted California driver’s license. Must be insurable by the company. Flexibility to work additional long hours as needed.
