We are seeking a dynamic Account Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sales, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
We are expanding our sales team in the NY metro area: NJ (all counties), Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, Long Island, and Westchester.
PMW Selections is a NYC based wine and spirits distribution company. We are committed on delivering exceptional brands that enhance any occasion, providing a refined selection curated sustainably, ethically, and intentionally. In business since 2019 and distributed in multiple states, with our core market being in New York City.
Job Responsibilities:
- Hitting sales targets set out every month
- Maintaining and Developing relationships with managers, and employees
- Cold calling prospect accounts with the aim of expanding points of distribution
- Developing monthly, weekly, and daily written plans for execution
- Planning weekly schedules of visits of prospects and accounts•
- Planning or participating in trade and in-store tasting events
- Scheduling orders, and sample requests through our in-house google forms.
- Invoicing, deliveries and following up on account receivables
Job Requirements:
- College Degree preferred
- At least one year of experience as a sales representative in wine/spirits/bev market
- Established network of accounts and decision-maker relationships
- Solid knowledge of wine
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral)
- Entrepreneurial mindset helpful; you will be creating a business within a business. French, Spanish, Italian language skills helpful
