Revana Estate is seeking harvest cellar hands to join us for the 2025 harvest! This is a seasonal position that will start in August and last until early November. Ideal candidates will be positive, energetic, dependable and passionate about making great wines, while also motivated to work alongside, collaborate with, and learn from people of diverse backgrounds and experiences. While harvest experience is preferred, we encourage those new to winemaking to apply. We ask a lot of our team but provide a well-rounded enological education in return.
As a small winey, you will be working directly with our winemaker and be part of every process from grape to barrel. You will get the opportunity to interact with our consulting winemaker, Thomas Rivers Brown, and see fruit from Beckstoffer To Kalon and other appellations such as Oakville, Stags Leap and Howell Mountain.
Background on Revana:
Revana produces 4,000 cases of Cabernet sauvignon, Cabernet franc and Merlot at our estate winery in St. Helena. The highly acclaimed winery features state-of-the-art processing and analytical equipment allowing interns to learn the techniques crucial to making world-class wine. Fruit is predominantly from our St. Helena estate vineyard with additional sourcing from iconic vineyard sites across the Napa Valley.
Duties:
Job duties will include grape receiving, sorting, pressing, racking, juice/must additions, inoculations and pumpovers, barrel prep/filling, winery sanitation, lab work, vineyard sampling, tasting/sensory and other general winery operations. Forklift training will be provided prior to harvest. Candidates must be flexible to work varying shifts, overtime, weekends, and must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. repeatedly.
We’re dedicated to hiring diverse talent and ensuring that we treat you with respect and support throughout the interview process and once you join the Revana team. We strive to create conditions that provide everyone with an equal opportunity to thrive.
Qualified candidates are requested to submit a cover letter, resume and a little anecdote about the best wine they’ve tried in the past year. We look forward to welcoming you to our 2025 harvest family!
