Who We Are:
AVP Wine Collective is a collective winery and commercial storage facility in the Portland metro area. We help experienced and emerging winemakers launch by providing a well-organized, well-equipped winery alongside a supportive community and expert help.

In addition, we store cases of wine, distilled spirits and consumer packaged goods and provide auxiliary services for wineries and distilleries.

What’s The Job:
Our warehouse associate will be responsible for the overall organization and functionality of our storage facility. In collaboration with our CEO, they will efficiently handle the flow of merchandise throughout the warehouse facility in an accurate, productive and safe manner. Duties will include but are not limited to:

•  Receive, check in, and unload in-bound merchandise using power equipment, pallet jacks, forklifts and other related equipment.
•  Stack the merchandise as it is received.
•  Select the merchandise to be picked up by the client.
•  Use inventory software to receive and dispatch goods including creating BOLs.
•  Palletize merchandise and shrink wrap.
•  Load merchandise onto truck trailers.
•  Work with other AVP staff on DTC shipments for storage clients.
•  Complete required documentation.
•  Perform basic sanitation duties to maintain a clean and safe environment; clear aisles of debris, stacks empty pallets from slots in aisle and return pallet jacks to charging
area.
•  Observe all safety policies and procedures.
•  Occasionally drive 26ft box truck to deliver or pick up merchandise.
•  Provide support for Winery Director during harvest season (August – October).

What You Bring to The Table:
•  Experience working in a warehouse.
•  Forklift certification.
•  Ability to reach and to lift product selected weighing up to approximately 90 lbs. with an average case weight of 40 lbs.
•  Manual dexterity, overall coordination and good balance are required.
•  Ability to stand, walk and move rapidly for the entire work shift.
•  Ability to use and operate related work aides to include motor driven forklifts and pallet jacks.
•  Ability to learn proper selection procedures, shipping and receiving techniques, computerized inventory procedures and safe operating techniques of motor driven pallet
jacks and forklifts.
•  Ability to drive 26ft box truck – CDL not required.
