Position Summary: The Warehouse Coordinator stages orders for shipment, Loads/Unloads containers, confirms counts, and provides support to the Distribution department.
Schedule: Four 10-hour days, Monday-Thursday 5:00am - 3:30pm, Some overtime mandatory when required.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
• Load and/or unload client shipments, double checking counts and SKUs for accuracy.
• Assign and enter outbound loads in NAV and in house Driver’s schedule.
• Check in and Pull samples for clients and make sure BOL’s match the wines that are delivered. Palletize and double check finished orders before they ship.
• Provide support to Production Lines (750/BIB/Keg/Tubes).
• Maintain up to date knowledge of domestic and export shipping policies.
• Assist in maintaining export over sticker label inventory and organization.
• Over sticker bottles and apply outer case labels, palletize, and wrap pallets.
• Dispose of office/breakroom/lab/bathroom trash twice a week. Go thorough compost/recycle/garbage as needed to make sure all items are properly disposed in compliance with Napa County requirements.
• Track shipping materials and requests reorders when necessary.
• Perform physical counts onsite and offsite.
• Maintain and rotate stock of all SKUs and request replenishment of inventory when necessary.
• Process damages and rework projects as assigned.
• Maintain warehouse shipping supplies; tape, boxes, inserts and labels.
• Oversee general organization and cleanliness of warehouse.
• Process Daily transfer orders and generate Inventory reports using Navision Software
• Daily Correspondence via email and use of Word & Excel to perform tasks.
• Drive company vehicles to deliver and pick up orders at various locations.
• Assist with supervision of temporary workers, including scheduling, training, and timecard review.
• Pull orders and pack for UPS/FEDEX.
• Assist with other distribution and export responsibilities as requested.
• Actively abide by all HACCP and ISO programs as part of SB compliance.
• Perform special assignments, projects, and other duties as required.
Education/Experience/Skills/Attributes:
• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred.
• 1-2 years winery experience preferred.
• Computer experience preferred, Microsoft Operating system, Word, Excel, Outlook.
• Ability to handle a demanding workload, tight deadlines, and manage multiple priorities at once.
• Ability to maintain productivity and composure under pressure.
• Communicates effectively to achieve shared goals.
• Forklift experience preferred or able to be trained and certified.
Requirements:
• Requires ability to use up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 40 pounds of force frequently.
• Requires ability to walk, stand and sit, sometimes for prolonged periods of time.
• Requires ability to drive assigned vehicle(s) or personal vehicle, with appropriate state license, following all applicable laws; must provide proof of liability insurance and must be eligible to be insured under SB’s insurance policy.
