SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE:
Brasswood Cellars, a small-production, premium winery, is looking for a Wine Sales & Allocation Manager to join our DTC Wine Sales Team on a full-time basis. This role focuses on increasing Brasswood's reach by driving new business and improving customer retention, e-commerce, and customer engagement, ensuring a seamless experience for clients. The Wine Sales & Allocation Manager collaborates with the all departments to enhance revenue growth and brand loyalty. We are looking for positive self-starters with strong leadership attributes who are flexible and love working in a team environment.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Wine Sales
• Drive DTC sales by driving new business and leveraging current clients by providing excellent and professional customer service both in-person and via phone campaign, with an emphasis on creating customer loyalty and retention. Foster industry relationships and convert outreach into property visitation and sales.
• Meet and exceed wine sales monthly/yearly goals via in-person tasting experiences and phone sales.
• Maintain maximum customer engagement throughout the year via text, phone, and email communications using available CRM tools.
• Perform daily tasting duties: conduct tastings and tours, set-up/break-down of tastings, phone sales, restock/organize wine cases, print menus, wipe down tables, bus and wash glasses, etc.
• Understand reservation systems and POS programs to process sales and shipping orders. RESY and Commerce 7 experience is a plus.
• Collaborate with Tasting Room Associates and Manager on scheduling tastings, rooms, and any tasting-related info.
• Create opportunities for and assist with off-site events/pourings
• Work with marketing department to optimize online storefronts, product listings, and digital marketing campaigns to increase sales conversion rates and ensuring a seamless user experience.
• Manage inventory, shipping logistics, and customer service for online orders.
• Monitor DTC sales performance, using metrics to improve marketing, update experiences, and refine pricing.
Allocation Management:
• Develop and execute strategies to grow and retain allocation memberships through targeted promotions, referrals, and personalized experiences.
• Manage allocation fulfillment and shipments, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
• Analyze allocation data to improve retention, engagement, and customer lifetime value.
• Plan and execute allocation events and experiences with a focus on loyalty.
• Other duties and projects as assigned.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
• 5+ years previous wine sales & hospitality, wine retail or wine phone sales experience.
• Ability to work independently and as part of the winery team.
• Possess excellent communication and strong organizational skills.
• Be 21 years of age or over.
• Work weekends, some evenings and holidays.
• Be energetic, accountable, and team-oriented.
• Maintain appropriate professional dress and personal hygiene standards.
• Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with a positive attitude.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
The employee frequently is required to sit, stand, and walk for long periods. This position requires the ability to occasionally lift wine cases up to 50 pounds.
