POSITION DESCRIPTION
Position Title: Seasonal Harvest
Department: Winery
Reports to: Winemaker
Supervises: N/A
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Our company, Provignage, manages winemaking for a group of renowned producers including Evening Land and its sister estate, Domaine de la Côte.

We will be hiring two interns to work the entirety of the harvest, approximately September 1 – October 31, to assist the full-time staff at the Evening Land Winery in Salem, Oregon.

The work is physically taxing and requires you to be on your feet all day. Days usually run from 7am-8pm, but can vary according to the pace of the harvest.

We value prior harvest experience in a candidate, and especially forklift driving experience, but don’t require it: we are happy to teach our philosophy and techniques of winemaking to the right person!

The right person will probably be:

Requirements:

•  A US resident eligible to work
•  Located in or nearby to Salem, OR for the duration of harvest
•  21+ years old
•  Able to lift 50 pounds

Compensation:

•  $18-22/hour DOE
•  Lunch provided
