Wise Villa Winery in the Sierra Foothills AVA is looking for harvest interns for 2025. The job will last from early August through November, depending on harvest needs.
About us: We are a small, boutique winery producing roughly 7,000 cases a year. The winemaking is hands-on, and we manage small-lot fermentation's with many different varietals. The team will be just 5-6 people total so you will be working closely with the winemakers and there will be ample opportunities to learn about the process and decision making that goes into the final product. We pride ourselves on giving each intern the opportunity to gain experience in all aspects of the winemaking process, from grape to glass.
About you: You will need to be highly motivated, sociable, and willing to bring energy to a passionate team that cares about every detail. A willingness to work in all areas of the cellar, lab and vineyard is essential. Experience is preferred but not required if there's a desire to work hard, show passion, and get the job done right!
Physical requirements include being able to lift 50 pounds on occasion, ability to perform tasks requiring bending, stooping, and standing for long periods of time, and can be exposed to indoor or outdoor work environments with varying noise levels.
