Position Details:
Job Title: Tasting Room Lead
Start Date: June 1
Location: Newberg, OR
Reports To: Piper

Employment Terms:
•  Employment Status: Full-time June 1st to November 1st
•  Work Schedule: Thursday - Monday

Compensation and Benefits:
Salary/Hourly Rate: $20/hour, payable bi-weekly
Bonus Structure: 5% of Sales through Tasting Room - if the Tasting Room monthly sales goal is exceeded than increased percentage of sales (see attached schedule), New Club Members $40

Benefits Package:
Paid Time Off: 10 days of PTO
Additional wine education stipend up to $1,000 annually, free wine

Job Responsibilities:

Keeping the Tasting Room clean, orderly.
Setting up the tasting space Thursday - Sunday with clean glassware, clean tasting space, wine for samples and sales.
Keeping a strong inventory of product on hand for sales and tastings. Communicating what we need at the space.
Hosting curated tasting experiences and being a strong brand ambassador.
Assisting with off site events selling wine and getting the word out about Sealionne.
Assist with all Sealionne Events for the year. Including but not limited to:
Harvest Party, Fall Pickup Party, Summer Celebration, New Wine Releases
Packing wine club shipments and pickups.
During harvest (September - October) assist with processing/sorting fruit, bottling Estate wines.

This is an incredible opportunity to learn all the different sides of a small family winery operation. The job provides time to share the brand story with new people at an outdoor tasting space with a beautiful view of the Mt. Jefferson while gaining commission with time to learn about wine production during the most exciting time of the year - Harvest! Plus, we have a fun team that is all about growing/learning/and having a great time!
