Northeast Regional Sales Manager
Join one of California's fastest growing and most awarded wine companies as we continue expanding our portfolio. We are seeking a qualified leader to oversee sales and market development across the Northeastern states.
Position Summary:
The Northeast Regional Sales Manager drives brand growth by managing distributor relationships, executing sales and marketing plans, and leading a multi-state business unit. The role focuses 60% on distributor management at the executive level and 40% on fieldwork, including visits with distributor sales representatives and key accounts. A strong emphasis is placed on leadership, teamwork, and alignment with the winery's philosophy, passion, and culture. This position reports to the EVP of Sales.
Responsibilities:
•  Manage all aspects of business performance across assigned states, including budgets, depletions, pricing, and profitability.
•  Develop and execute market plans to meet sales goals and hold distributors accountable for performance standards.
•  Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts.
•  Comprehensive plan for both on-premise and off-premise channels
•  Conscientious and efficient budget management
•  Maximizes company profitability and resources most effectively
Performance Expectations:
•  Consistently achieve or exceed sales goals through effective planning and execution
•  Exhibit strong judgment, creativity, and resource management to maximize profitability
•  Demonstrate excellent teamwork and leadership across our internal and distributor teams
Qualifications:
•  10 years of wine industry experience, with previous supplier and multi-state territory management in the NE
•  Deep wine knowledge and strong business acumen
•  Outstanding leadership, communication, and market development skills
•  Results-driven and passionate about success.
•  Brings deep relationships with key customers in the Tri-state and New England markets
•  Must live in NY, NJ, CT, or MA

Recommendation for comp: $135-$155
