Summary:
Under the supervision of the bottling manager, and bottling supervisor the bottling lead will assist in directing bottling line employees to work in a safe, efficient and quality driven environment. Ensure all packaging materials, wine types and quality assurance specifications are in accordance with the current production schedule and applicable industry and governmental requirements. The position is also responsible for bottling sanitation and bottling line start up and shut down

Reports to: Bottling Supervisor & Bottling Manager
Classification: Full-time, Non-Exempt
Compensation: $25 - $27

You Will:
Coordinate bottling floor operations to include efficient changeovers and accurate set up
Ensure all materials are ready, prepared and correct for scheduled bottling
Ensure all bottling line equipment is running at optimum efficiencies
Ensure finished product is in accordance with company, governmental and custom bottling client quality standards and requirements.
Possess sufficient knowledge and understanding of bottling line equipment to confer with maintenance staff regarding machine operation, corrective action and preventive maintenance.
Follow instructions from winemaking to ensure wine integrity is maintained at all times
Follow work order instructions to ensure that the correct dry goods are utilized
Other duties as assigned

You Have:
Be a self-starter and work with limited supervision.
Have good communication skills.
Be able to read and write English and perform basic mathematical calculations.
Be able to read various types of gauges, meters and operate test equipment.
Must have previous bottling line operation experience and be familiar with the functioning of bottling line equipment.
Comfortable working under pressure.
Schedule flexibility on short notice.
Attention to detail and good organizational skills.
Knowledge of wine packaging
Self-motivated and professional with ability to multi-task
Highly organized, accurate, detail oriented and strives for excellence
Ability to maintain high level of quality while maintaining a safe, fast pace environment.
Ability to read and interpret safety policies, operating and maintenance instructions.
Ability to read and write English. Fluency in Spanish highly desirable
Ability to troubleshoot and solve production related problems.
Ability to resolve personnel conflicts and recognize when Management or HR assistance is needed.
Ability to communicate with co-workers, customers, and managers
The ability to train personnel
