Job Summary:
The Housekeeper role involves executing day to day cleaning and preparation of guest suites, bathrooms, kitchen, common areas, and exterior spaces for guest visits at the Estate 8 and Guest Cottage property. The Housekeeper is responsible for flipping guest rooms and re-stocking them with appropriate amenities. In addition, this role involves laundering of all household linens, supporting food prep for daily breakfast presentation, light beverage and snacks for guests in the kitchen, and assisting with set up, execution, service, and clean up for all private residence dinners and events. The Housekeeper will have a proactive and efficient work ethic, and take pride in providing an excellent experience to ONEHOPE guests.

Responsibilities:
Execute day to day cleaning and preparation of guest suites, bathrooms, kitchen, common areas, exterior spaces, etc. for guest visits to Estate 8 and the Guest Cottage
Ensure all guest rooms are stocked with appropriate amenities and are continually maintained
Prepare suites for guest arrival including flipping bed linens, towels, rugs, and amenities, completed to Estate 8 and Guest Cottage presentation standards, in a timely manner between check-out and check-in.
Maintain an organized environment per Estate 8 and Guest Cottage standards
Assist in maintaining the functionality of all cleaning equipment and supplies
Assist in laundering of all household linens (bedding, towels, napkins etc.)
Support food prep for daily breakfast execution, light beverage and snacks for guests in the kitchen and misc. culinary support on a case by case basis
Assist with set up, execution, service and clean up for all private residence dinners and events
Routine gathering of household garbage & recycling
Stocking wine in rooms, wine coolers, and cellar as assigned
Additional projects as assigned

Organization: The ability to maintain and organize all cleaning equipment, in-room supplies, pantry, kitchen supplies, and outdoor amenities.
Practical knowledge: Possess a solid understanding of household equipment, outdoor equipment such as firepits, heaters, umbrellas, and in-room presentation standards
Customer service: The ability to converse with and assist guests with questions and other needs. Provide guests with a positive experience by supporting food prep for daily breakfast execution, light beverage and snacks for guests in the kitchen, and assisting with private residence dinners and events.
Communication: The ability to effectively communicate with supervisor and team, contributing to an efficient workflow and positive teamwork. Communicate effectively with guests.
Flexibility: The ability to work a flexible schedule subject to change.
Teamwork: The ability to work collaboratively with others along with assisting hospitality staff with back of the house support as needed.
Time management: The ability to manage time effectively to complete all required tasks within the scheduled hours of work and other time deadlines

Qualifications:
2+ years of housekeeping experience, preferably in luxury properties
English proficiency required
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Ability to work on your feet for long periods (8+ hours)
Knowledge of cleaning and sanitation products, techniques and methods
Knowledge of cleaning sensitive materials
Working knowledge of operating cleaning equipment
Physical stamina and mobility including ability to reach, kneel and bend
Ability to lift, push and pull required load (usually about 30lbs)
Displays passion for hospitality and standards of excellence

A strong drive to complete tasks while being detail oriented
