2025 Harvest Cellar Hand – Paso Robles, California
Field Recordings Winery, located in Paso Robles, California, is hiring 2–3 enthusiastic and
hardworking harvest cellar hands for the 2025 vintage! We’re a small-to-medium-sized
winery, processing approximately 1,200 tons of fruit annually, sourced from over 20 vineyards
across California’s Central Coast. Our diverse grape portfolio offers an incredible opportunity to
learn about a wide range of varietals and winemaking styles.
About the Role:
As a harvest intern, you’ll work side-by-side with our experienced cellar crew—some of whom
have been part of the team for 10+ years. This is a hands-on position where you’ll be involved
in all aspects of harvest, from crush to press. We welcome candidates of all experience levels,
though previous cellar experience is a plus.
What You’ll Gain:
• Full immersion in the wine production process making many different styles of wine (red,
white, orange, pet-nat, traditional method sparkling, carbonic maceration)
• Daily harvest lunches and a well-stocked kitchen with snacks and treats
• Vertical, blind, and inspiring wine tastings to help broaden your palate
• The chance to be part of a tight-knit, passionate team that makes the most of the harvest
season (expect plenty of music, jokes, and ridiculous hypothetical questions)
What We’re Looking For:
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
• Strong physical fitness and comfort with manual labor
• A positive attitude and excitement to learn
• Previous cellar and/or forklift experience is a bonus
Position Details:
• Duration: July – November 2025
• Schedule: Full-time; 6 days/week during peak harvest (overtime expected)
• Pay: $18–$20/hour + a retention bonus
