Marine Layer Wines is looking for hardworking, passionate individuals to join our 2025 harvest team!
Located in downtown Healdsburg, our priority is crafting elegant and balanced wines representative of their varietal and vineyard. The heart and soul of our winery belongs to Sonoma Coast Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, but you will also have the chance to explore varietals such as Vermentino, Picpoul, Cab Sauv, and Grenache from other nearby appellations. We also house a few custom crush clients at the cellar, giving you the opportunity to work with different winemaking philosophies. We are looking for interns to join us from early August through at least October, with potential for one intern to start earlier in mid-July.
As we are a small (but mighty!) team, you will be exposed to all aspects of the harvest process, from checking brix on juice samples, to punchdowns and pump-overs during fermentation, to barreling down for aging. Every intern is integral to our vintage’s success, and our goal is for you to get as much out of your harvest experience as we do. We offer a $500 monthly housing stipend, as well as lunch provided a few times a week (not to mention a kitchen always stocked with snacks and drinks). While taking care of the wine is always our top priority, we do our best to keep the cellar a fun and engaging environment, even on days filled with power-washing and press-cleaning. The Marine Layer team is a dedicated group of humans continuously looking to hone our knowledge and skills through experimentation, education, and exposure to interesting wines and winemaking techniques - if this sounds like you, we would love to hear from you!
