About Mill Creek:
Mill Creek Vineyards & Winery is a family-owned estate winery located just 1 mile outside of Healdsburg in the Dry Creek Valley. The Kreck family has been growing grapes since 1965 and producing award-winning wines since 1974. Today, we craft premium wines from our estate vineyards, our family home in Alexander Valley, and a few select neighboring sites. Our focus is on Bordeaux varietals such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Malbec, along with Chardonnay, Gewürztraminer, and Sauvignon Blanc.

The Position:
We’re looking for a hard-working, enthusiastic Harvest Intern to join our small team for the 2025 vintage. This is a hands-on opportunity to gain valuable experience in a dynamic cellar where you'll be involved in all aspects of harvest. We expect to process between 200–250 tons during the season, offering an excellent learning environment for someone looking to deepen their winemaking knowledge and skills.
•  Dates: Approximately September 1 – October 31, 2025
•  Location: Healdsburg, CA

Key Responsibilities (included but are not limited to):
•  Grape sampling and maturity tracking
•  Fruit processing and sorting
•  Cap management (pumpovers/punchdowns)
•  Yeast, nutrient, and bacteria additions
•  Fermentation monitoring and data logging
•  Barrel work (filling, racking, topping)
•  Tank and equipment cleaning/sanitation
•  General cleaning and sanitation
•  Lab analysis and sample prep
•  Dig-outs and cellar clean-up
•  And the usual random surprises that harvest brings

What We’re Looking For:
•  Prior harvest experience is preferred but not required
•  Positive, can-do attitude with a strong work ethic
•  Physically able to lift 50 lbs and perform repetitive physical tasks
•  Comfortable working in wet, slippery, dark, or confined spaces
•  Willingness to work long hours, including weekends
•  Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions
•  Able to work independently and as part of a team
•  Must have reliable transportation to and from work
•  Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required
